Father's reply...."No son of mind will join the military!! We only support the war if other young people die but my son will not die because he will not go! We are Republicans! We are proud to support but we won't serve. We're well off people. I only support the war if we don't have to serve". With that he walked away mad. A true war supporter.

Presuming your account is actual, and not a fable, why would you anticipate somebody chosen at random to place aside a occupation course and connect the militia? in basic terms because of the fact they placed one in each and every of those glue-on help stickers. Get actual. Do you suspect every person can or could replace right into a soldier? thankfully at this ingredient in our historic previous that's totally a threat to combat wars with people who prefer to combat wars and not drafting happless youthful adult males who've extremely no prefer to die for a president for whom they have no admire. i'm a veteran of the U. S. army, having spent 6 years on Submarines. mutually as i'd have long previous to conflict if called upon, I chosen the army considering that I favored to kill at a distance and not do each and all of the stuff that the infantry is termed to do. Killing from a distance is ever lots extra civilized.

I doubt this conversation actually took place. You hd another post earlier that you quoted a story and added your own twist to it. You gave the woman suicide bomber a specific reason for the bombing. That reason did not appear in any of the actual AP reportings. So I have to say that this is also fabricated and another one of your juvenile attempts to make your played out point.
Cmon we know by now that you are a typical liberal Bush hater - a defeatist surrender monkey that wants America to lose. You thirst for communism or socialism. Your probably a college student, Cali I would bet, and have not experienced enough real life to make any judgements and certainly know nothign about the military or this war. (other than what is spon few to you in the drive by media)

Tell you what, if this is true...then I fought for that guy and his family, my sacrifice was for thier family as well.

I hear the same thing every day, especially among Yahoo Q & A users who have plenty of time to push their war by asking the same questions over and over, but no energy to get out of their computer chairs and actually do something like go stand in line at their local military induction office.

I would say he didn't get mad because this didn't happen. For a commissar, this 'story' is the equivalent of a coloring book picture that is crisscrossed with crayon marks.

It must be "Bring Your Kids to Work Day" at the democrat Politburo today.
