A wisdom tooth normally takes long to come out and can be quite painful. Unless you've got it X-rayed to see if there's enough space for it to come out it should be no problem (most of the time that's the reason for persisting pain because it's forcing it's way out). Try chewing and leaving a clove between your teeth (the one which is hurting). My wisdom teeth took 3 years to come out of which one was removed since there wasn't enough space for it in my jaw!! Not a good experience.

Sorry, there is none. Get a hold of a dentist because what is going on could be your wisdom tooth getting impacted and that can cause your teeth to shift and become crooked as well as crack. If you do not have much income to see one then call around and ask if they will take payments. Be sure to not let this go on and on and do not be afraid to see the dentist. They are very good nowadays.

Oh Ouch! I just had one removed it hurt like hell.
I used every thing over the counter. What I found as long as it is not a cavity use a wash cloth with a little hot water or vodka on it and bit down on it it will hurt but soon the pain will go away. Keep washing your mouth out with water and salt and in 3 TO 5 weeks it will be in if your getting them if its a cavity or tooth ace go to your dds, I hope you feel better soon and hope this helps you out some.

If your having pain caused by it erupting or if it's from an extraction, call your dentist. If it's causing you severe pain he can phone in a prescription pain medication for you to take to alleviate it. If you prefer not to call the best thing to take is Advil or Motrin 600-800 mg for inflammation, swelling and pain associated with either situation. Good luck, I would advise you see your dentist for this problem, it's the best and easiest way to eliminate the unnecessary pain your having.

No remedies, but i can say dont waste time getting it removed. The root wraps around the jaw bone if you wait too long and it becomes much harder to remove.(yes from experience)

Dentists normally pull them as they crowd the other teeth.
