It may affect your refund, if you owe they may keep what you owe from your refund, depending on their policies. If you elected direct deposit with HBSC receiving your refund and then giving you your refund either via direct deposit into your bank account or by giving you a check, You will probably receive your refund about a week after the IRS releases it

It's too bad the preparer didn't explain this to you. HSBC bank denied your loan because you already have a bank debt owed to which is not paid timely, because you have no credit history, or other flaw on your credit.

What happens is that the bank will still handle your refund, but since there is no loan, the bank will wait to receive the refund from the IRS. This takes up to two weeks normally. After the bank receives your refund, it will pay the preparer and pay you. You will not be charged the finance charge appearing in your loan papers.

You will either pick up a check from the preparer, have the debit card given to you loaded, or have the proceeds deposited into your bank account. Whatever option you originally chose will be used.

If you have not received your money in two weeks, contact the preparer. They will know if the money has been sent to the bank.

With no RAL, the IRS will either direct deposit your refund or mail you a check. It won't go through Household Bank.

Why would you ever do a "RAL"? The biggest rip-off ever to hit America! Do electronic-- 10 days you have your money in the bank without giving half of it to the "RICH"!!!!!!
By the way, RAL'S is the brain storm of H&R Block who is Sears and Roebucks! Just do your research on Sears to confirm my suggestion!

You get your refund in the mail or direct deposit in your bank directly from the IRS.
