Meeting my Boyfriends parents?

Question

My boyfriend wants me to go over to dinner tomorro night. He said i look cuter without any makeup on and he wants me to go without any on. I have a feeling he may be lying to me to try and get me embarrised, but he wouldnt do that to me. What should i do? should i go completly girl girly with make up and a mini skirt? or should i just go the way he wants me to?Maybe he was serious that he thinks im cuter without makeup idk Please help?

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. Most girls wear way too much war paint as it is. Do not believe all the hype in the magazines. Believe me, when we guys are alone kicking it. we comment on who was wearing too much of what. My friends and I wonder "why does she have all that on? what is she trying to hide?" The joke is always going to bed with some one and waking to someone different when she is in her "real" face. If he say you look better sans makeup, go with that. And as far as wearing a mini. If you like them and want to wear on. The mini is a quintesenceual fashion icon. If worn with the right shoes or boots and a cow neck or cashmere sweater you are talking cutting edge couture.

Hey there, I am from India. men love girls that look demure and homely. Come on you are meeting his parents and they should think you have some homely streaks in you and not feel you might be the partying type. All dads and moms want their sons to have a nice girl who dresses like a lady atleast when in front of them and not too much make up. I as a girl in India face the same and men are more often than not worried about no make up and no exposing clothes. That is the respect for older people especially the parents that gave birth to your boyfriend of your dreams. So go get a nice outfit that impresses and make his parents love you and know that their son found the right girl that deserves him.

Look most guys want the girl they are with to look good... well because us guys are a bit selfish that way... so if he tells you that you look better without makeup... well that means HE likes you better without it... also you are meeting parents so go a bit more conservative... the mini-skirt might just be a bit too much...

Be yourself but be a bit reserved... you can always open up more once you get to know them... but you can't take back what has already been said or done...

but on a simple powder and maybe some mascara and a simple gloss don't go too eccentric after all you are meeting the parents. Maybe his folks like natural girls and ur makeup would be too much for them. So if u must wear any keep it simple and natural. And no minis!!!! Were a cute dress or a nice skirt with some
legnth but that is still chic remember it's his parents!

Makeup is SeVeReLy overratted...There are a LOT of guys that prefer "natural" looking girls. Either way it isn't about what he wants really, it's about what makes you feel good/confident. If you feel more comfortable with it go ahead but some of the reason that many people think it's better wihtout is because it you cover yourself up with makeup you're hiding yourself (figuratively too). If you go with makeup be subtle! lol less is more...but I'm sure you're fine without. Hey! if they can't take it that's on them...Shoot. hah Good luck!! ( ^_^)

hey, i think u should wear whatever makes u feel good, look good. if he really likes u without makeup, i think he would have told u sooner! but he told u not to wear any on this occassion, and he knows his parents better than u of course. so maybe its a hint.
if i were u, i would just put on a light face makeup, the colour of ur skin, maybe some powder, just tiny bit of mascara, and a natural lip colour (put a dark colour, then pout it, until most of it is gone, and ur lips will have a natural and poty look and some colour) And ur ready to go girl!
AND AS FAR AS CLOTHES go, wear something that compliments ur body, BUT NOT REVEALING AT ALL! jmaybe a slightly low cut shirt...but thats IT..!!!!..................good luck!!

Trust what he says.
Go without the makeup.
Oddly enough, most guys like their girls without all the glam and glitz. My hubby used to tell me that when we were dating, and he still does. No make up to them is beautiful.
But he also probably wants his parents to see you like that. Most parents think that a girl who wears a lot of make up is a flousy! Don't ask me where they get those ideas from, but it's true.

But again, I suggest you go without the makeup like he wants. It is only for one night of dinner. And he'll appreciate it!

most people look pretty without any make-up on, that is my suggestion. Your boyfriend might be the good one ,maybe he likes the simple look. If you love him then do as he said. He cannot embarrised you in front of people if you know with the honest believe that he loves you.

i say go with out makeup and don't dress completely like he wants u 2 but don't dress to sluty if ur meeting his parents they might get a bad impression on u.
