Okay, first, you need to get her to her doctor -- pronto. Vaginal bleeding and painful urination are not normal and regardless of what is causing it, you need to get your daughter treated.

Not trying to scare you, but 99% of parents honestly believe there is "no possible case of child abuse." Virtually all cases of child abuse are instances where the child is abused by "a trusted adult". If not the parents, then grandparents, babysitters, playmates or playmates' siblings or parents, neighbors, teachers, even pastors or Sunday School teachers. Unless your daughter is literally within your sight every second of every day, you shouldn't close your mind to the thought that she could be abused. I promise, that will be something that will come up when you take her to see her doctor. Answer questions honestly, and don't get defensive, all questions are there to help determine what is going on with your daughter.

Most likely, they're going to look into that thoroughly before they consider things like uterine cancer in your 5-year-old. It just doesn't happen often enough to immediately assume that's the reason.

For your daughter's sake, and for yours, I sincerely hope there is an alternative answer as to why she's having these problems.

God Bless.

You need to bring her to the Pediatrician or Urologist.. she sounds as if she is having UTI or possible kidney stones. Uterine cancer is a longshot.. since she is not producing enough hormones at this age. You can take her to the ER and they can check for a urinary tract infection or bladder infection and give her some antibiotics to clear it up. Don't hold off to long just in case it is a stone.. that can cause serious problems. Good luck.

my 1st and main concern would be abuse. I know that you trust the ones you love but you need to ask her anyway. ask her if she has a brother or father if they have ever touched her pee pee. I hope this is not the case but it is possible . now the docs will be able to examine her hymen to see if ther has been any penetration they will take blood work probly 1st to see if its a bladder infection.. if it comes back neg... they will begin swabs of semen residue sampling. and ask her questions via a child psychologist to rule out sexual molestation. I am praying for you in hopes its a simple bladder infection. My mom had a baldder infection and she had spotting in her underware and when she peed it was painful. Good luck.

It could be but maybe she is rare...and started puberty.. I will be praying for you and your daughter.. God Bless...P.S. Please!!! Tell me if she does have cancer or not. And what is causing that bleeding.... Thanks! ~Jasiela

P.P.S Mommy of 2 3/1 or the person above me...It could not be a bladder infection that would not casue bleeding..and if it hurts and stings her to wipe than it could be that she doesn't change her panties as often as she should.... I had the same problem when I was younger...Embarrassing!!!!

I agree with mandy s. Most parents are in denial when they think their child can not have possibly been abused. If at any time your child is not with you, it is VERY possible and by ANYONE. Your father, your brother, etc. It is possible. I pray that is not the case with your daughter, though.

If when she urinates it hurts it could be a bladder infection. If not treated they WILL get to the point of causing bleeding. I hope this helps. Good luck
