Because they get quicker answers here I guess. But they should go there!
By the same rationale, I wonder why a lot of people who ask many questions on Yahoo! Answers don't just Google for the info they need!!! Or go to Wikipedia...

hiya, well i wondered too, i am betting its cos they don,t know about those sites. or if they did look ,maybe the answers feel impersonal? and they hope someone "real" hopefully not a cruel and misleading sort, but someone who shares the problem can offer a valid response. i also found that some sites do not offer enough detail. and not all have a link to a fellow sufferers chat room. though most do.
if medication isnt working, and you have tried it as long as you could stand it. then i would be also seeking others options, i don,t have to take that advice, but it could be a start to look for another way.
and those sites are all Pharmacuetically based, after reading up on what drug companies manage to get on the market..( Maxtor, vioxx?? killed people!!and personally having had some nasty adverse reactions).i now never take any script without doing a web search on the product.
then i decide wether the illness is as bad? or better than the pill offered, side effects.

,I agree with what you are saying, expect for one thing, this is free. I went to WebMd and asked a question, gave them my symptons, sat back waiting for an answer and quess what poped up? This question---- "How much would you like to pay for your answer, $20,$14 or $9." So, like I say, yahoo Q&A are free.

Ah, but a newcomer to this site may not be aware of those sites. As you must notice, many answerers direct them to those sites.
