Why do appointments not stay on my calendar once the date is past? For example: I entered "Lunch with Boss" on Feb 22. I go back today to Feb 22 and there is nothing on that day. I looked for other past items and they are all gone. Is there a way to make them "stick" or is that a feature of Outlook that once the appointment / day is past, the items are gone?

Thanks.

I agree that you may have Auto Archive on. This is usually set up to keep your Calendar from becomming too large and causing your mailbox to exceed the allowed limit.

If you discover that Auto Archive is on, check to where it it archive the entries (a .PST file). The archive process makes a copy of your calendar in this file. You should find you Calendar entries in this file.

Right click calendar select properties
Go into auto archive and change the amount of time it waits until it archives your calendar items. I think the default is 2 months, but someone may have changed it.
Let me know if this works... I do this stuff for a living...
