I mean I'm not racist or anything. In fact I'm half black, but I noticed that black people don't really get much respect from anyone in this forum.

Nobody gets any respect in this forum. It's a giant hate-fest where the racists, bigots and homophobes come to vent their spleens and parade their lack of social graces.

I have seen many hate filled racists posts on this forum. No one it seems has been spared the viciousness of some idiot with very low self esteem trying to "down" someone else in order to have a reason for his/her pitiful existence.
No one really gets any respect on here, as one of the other posters pointed out. I don't use race related words,or insults, to get my views across and I read all questions with the same attitude "Do I want to answer them "? I don't care who is the poster. And unless they tell me ,how would I know what "color" they are?
But I will say this there are some people that
can only justify their own miserable existence by treating others (any one different than they are) ,disrespectfully . I am anti illegal alien and I never call any one "bad" names. I simply post the truth and veritable facts.

No one really gets any respect on this forum!! I don't know how you tell a person's color, since everyone uses fake avatars, but i will say one thing!!! I have a lot MORE respect for the blacks, and NO respect for the ILLEGALS!!!
Blacks:= were brought here against their will, to be slaves!! And even though my family never owned slaves,i have heard the horror storys about some of the things the blacks had to endure.I feel empathy for those who lived during those times!!

ILLEGALS:=Greed motivated, disrespectful, free loaders, who always have their hand out, demanding MORE!!!
Illegals: are UNWANTED here!!

I get respect most of the time. I have noticed some racism, but it usually comes from the rabid freaks whose avatars don't last very long. They usually hate anyone who isn't their own color. I ignore them. I personally think everyone is at least a little racist, including myself. You have to keep in mind, this is the internet, you cant take anything too seriously.

MsMissy makes a great point. Who knows what color/race a person is, you can't tell thru avatars. As for people who are out right racist on here, I seriously doubt if that is how they really feel, I think they are just here posting to stir the pot. (just my take on things) (although I have seen one person who is from Europe post non stop about black Americans and I do feel this person was seriously racist towards black Americans)

That isn't 100% correct, I give blacks as much respect as anyone else here. I actually give them more respect than I do right-wingers.

But I have noticed that many don't give out the respect they deserve..

No race gets respect on Yahoo, my right to life was questioned recently (by a white) because of my ethnic pride on here. I received alot of stupid emails from browns who are appalled that I am not on their side, because they don't know or care about all of the bullsh-- I have had to deal with, due to illegals trailing across my backyard at the border.

I don't have to post as Lakota, but since the red race is brought up constantly in this section on both sides -- you have participants like Shoshone and myself, who want it known that natives are in this section too.

Blacks aren't brought up as much, that I have seen lately. I agree with Taco aka "Antis Suck" (who claims to have broken a beer bottle on a white coworker for bringing him Taco Bell food, and asked a question about Mexicans and tacos), they are definitely getting slammed as a culture because of the controversial topic, but judging by the questions they post about whites --you reap what you sow.

I am so proud of my brothas and sistas. They have not used this forum to bash people while hiding behind a computer screen. It shows that people spend much more time thinking about us than us them. I think that it is a compliment ot be honest.

I have seen Black Americans called "racist" for being against illegal immigration and against amnesty for illegals. It's pretty weird.

I respect all American citizens and race is a non-issue when it comes to illegal, law breaking immigrants.

It's a little hard to tell what race someone might be from an avatar that may or may not accurately represent the poster.
I might be black for all you know.
