No, that is not the difference. I am by no means pro Islam but give credit where credit is due.
The difference between Islam and Christianity is the divinity of Jesus Christ. Muslims think he's just a prophet and Christians know he is God personified.
Islam is getting a black-eye because of the extremists who say they follow the religion. Those extremists are mixing and misinterpreting their cultural beliefs with the religion.
Again, there are many aspects of Islam I completely disagree with but I don't base bias on what some of its followers are doing.
Jesus Christ IS Lord!

Christianity is God loving us so much He sent His only begotten Son to suffer and die so that we may live.
The original Mohammed was sort of in the vein of Buddha and Confusious. He had a philosophy but then he took some aspects from the Jews, like Abraham, and Christians, like Jesus, as great prophets. Then put a middle eastern slant to the whole thing. Its when he died the religion got ugly with divisions between 3 relations and all that jihad stuff started to be part of their 'tradition' and the real fanatics are supported by the moderates only through fear and intimidation. Until the moderates can band together and stop the fanatics themselves its never going to end.

I think both religions promote extremist freaks equally. and many people are led around by the noses, unable to think for themselves properly due to these curses on humanity. Anyone who believes in any religion is doomed. I have read many religious books and have come to the conclusion that they are all LIES mixed with the truths of life to control the weak minded...There is no way that I will be burdened with guilt or believe that there is only one chosen race to be with any god or that you are judged by what you do in life but will not get into heaven if you do not believe in the son.
Ban Religion in Public. Make it illegal to talk about religion other than to say its illegal. make it that if you want to be religious and need to believe in a Deity to live your life, that it must be done in the confines of ones own home where it can not be heard by others in public. Remove it from television. If we have free will, then let your children decide what religion is right for them, give them the literature of all the religions and let them choose. I guarantee you that you would be saddened greatly when they didn't choose what you chose....but we all know that free will is just a lie anyway. Peace

What did a Muslim ever do to you? Don't you realize that Islam is a peaceful religion. Yes, I know there are people out there wanting to kill Americans for the sake of "Islam". However...
*NEWS FLASH* They aren't Muslims. They are misguided fools that I pray will learn that they aren't following Islam. They are following a religion that is a twisted and corrupted version of Islam.
Would you care to hear what REAL Muslims are saying about terrorism?
"[Quran 5:32] "......, we decreed for the Children of Israel that anyone who murders any person who had not committed murder or horrendous crimes, it shall be as if he murdered all the people. And anyone who spares a life, it shall be as if he spared the lives of all the people. .............."
The religion of Islam condemns the killing or even the persecution of people merely because they embrace a different religion. The Quran mandates the absolute freedom of religion in a society. It does not allow Muslims to fight except for self defense and to enforce peace. It does not allow restrictions on those who disagree on religious matters. It urges the Muslims to treat such people kindly and equitably:"

The major difference is that Muslims believe the voices Mohammad heard in his head were that of God, while Christians believe there were that of a schizophrenic.

Once again a christian's ignorance shows its common face. The five pillars of Islam are of peace, Allah is arbic for 'The G-d'. The difference between the christian and Islamic G-d is that the christians have more than one.

No. Christians worship Jesus(PBUH*) a prophet of ALLAH as God which is nonsense and think Jesus is God in three forms whereas Muslims KNOW Jesus(PBUH*) is a prophet of ALLAH and worship ONLY ALLAH IN ISLAM.

no, you are very misinformed if you genuinly believe that. i think you need to learn about islam from someone other than george bush. its a very peaceful religion, and until 9/11, i think more evil had been done in the name of christianity than in the name of islam. even then people like the crusaders and terrorists can not call themselves true christians/muslims, because they have such warped interpretations of the bible/quaran.
