depends on the color...if it is a red tone try washing with dawn dish soap it will take the violet out of you rhair (lice shampoo will also do the same thing) if its light you may want to try a semi perm color over it to tone it or go to sally's and find a neutalizer.

You could dye it another color but really just wash it and wait a few days. It will calm down in a few days. Mine always comes out too bright. It takes a few days to look the color I really wanted. Good luck!!

Yeah, they have this Color Removment kit thingy by Feria =] or you can just re-dye your hair again but it may damage it =/ put temperary color over it so that way when the temperary color comes out, the permenant coklor does 2.

Just get a darker color and do it over again. I have done this plenty of times. It will tone down the color.

It'll fade the next few days. If you want to give it a nudge in that direction, go wash it now, and wash it twice a day for a week or so. That should help it fade.

be careful of over processing. i would suggest going to a colorist but if you can't afford that most beauty stores carry toners.

[and if it's blonde, try picking a color with the word "ash" in it. it will get rid of that dull brassy color]

hope that helps :)

The color will fade with frequent washing. Give it about a week.

Peace.
