0k... so i found this guy and i really like him alot... i dont kno he acts like he likes me to... im white.. and he is indian... do you think that it is wrong for me to want to get with him??... he acts like he likes me alot and sometimes he acts like he is scared to make a move ... the other night we were hanging out.. and he sat beside me and it was almost like he diddent have the nerve to make a move... so fineally he put his arm around me and i layes my head on his sholder and he kissed me... the rest of the night i diddent want him to leave... and i feel so happy when i am around him... im not a girl that smiles alot.. and that night i couldent stop smileing... i dont kno what to do... do you think i should make more moves... and possibly ask him out...or should i wait and see if he asks me out...becuase he seems like he might be a kinda shy guy.....would it be ok for us to date?i really like him and i want somebody i can spend the rest of my life with...i want to be with him!

0k well btw who ever said i was in 7th grade... lmao havent been their in a while.... im 11th and graduateing early
but i want to learn his ways and why it would be wrong is because my mum is highly against this... like i dont want to talk about marrage right now... but i dont kno... like i am one of those girls who look more into the future and wonder if i do something now if it would make the future better... i dont kno i really like this guy... i hope to get more answers to try to make muh mind up

If he kissed you, he's not too shy to ask you out. Just wait for him to muster up the courage. Yes, you can date, but don't think about marriage, etc. yet. It sounds like you're a little young for that.
11th grade still, you're too young to think about marriage. I was in a 2 1/2 year relationship from ages 19-21, thought this was the guy I'd marry, but was totally wrong. I'm now 23, single, and happy. Race doesn't matter to you, but it may matter to yours and his parents.

I don't think it matters what your ethnic backrounds are, who cares.
He wouldn't have been sitting close to you and being cuddly if he didn't like you.
Instead of asking him out, I'd wait for him, but drop hints that are easy to understand. For example, what are you doing this weekend? There's this movie that I've been dying to see. And see where it goes.

This is 2007. Why does race still matter to people? If you like him and want to be with him, go for it. But it sounds to me that you are trying to find an excuse not to.

There is nothing wrong with mixed couples. He obviously likes you but it could be his culture that is holding him back. Go to him, ask if he wishes to see you again and take it from there. Good luck

It would be okay for you to date. Realize that some people (usually parents) may have a problem with it, but that's their problem.
