Tell God you are sorry, ask Him (or Her) for help, and keep trying.
The point about Lent is spiritual renewal, not beating yourself up.
The Catholic Church and many other Christians Churches follow the Biblical practice of Jesus Christ and the Jews in setting aside days where the entire Church fasts and prays as one in a attitude of constant renewal.
By the solemn forty days of Lent the Church unites herself each year to the mystery of Jesus in the desert and in spiritual preparation for the celebration of His Passion, Death, and Resurrection.
This season of penance is an intense moments of the Church's penitential practice and are particularly appropriate for spiritual exercises, penitential liturgies, pilgrimages as signs of penance, voluntary self-denial such as fasting and almsgiving, and charitable and missionary works.
With love in Christ.

Realize that Lenten fasting isn't commanded or even suggested anywhere in the Bible. When fasting is commanded by Jesus, he tells us to do it in secret, not in groups and publicly, and it isn't about an excuse to have a big party right before the fast, either. The behavior of Christians should be consistent from day to day, and if you NEED to give something up, you shouldn't wait for Lent. If it is about giving yourself discipline and self-control, pray, and try again. Lent doesn't matter.

You should confess to your priest and start a new Lenten promise. It will make you feel better to tell.

That is part of the purpose of Lent is to help us see how much we really need Jesus! How precious for you to get to experience having a set back and know that you now turn to Him and finish following through with the power of the Holy Spirit!
Pray, and thank God for this beautiful lesson. Be grateful and humbled by the experience and then persevere!
