It's a miniscule amount.
Man-made carbon dioxide emissions account for something like 3% of all carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere. Most of it comes from natural sources, like volcanoes.
It doesn't matter, anyway. China produces far more CO2 emissions than the US, and it's still a tiny amount compared to what is produced by nature.
Furthermore, there is NO scientifically established correlation between global CO2 level and temperature increases.
There are problems that are far more real, and will have far more impact on your life, and the lives of others, than "global warming." There are many causes more worthy of your worry. Personally, I'd spend more of my time fighting political correctness, reforming schools so that they teach students *how* to think, rather than *what* to think, and reversing the decline of Western civilization.

next time we could deliver militia forces to shield oil, like the Persian Gulf conflict I served in, you deliver a verify to pay for it, because of the fact i'm attempting to get off of oil. and that i'm greatest by skill of occasion with 40 two mpg, subsequently lowering my carbon output with transportation. i exploit in basic terms approximately a million/2 of what maximum do.

25% is correct and as a % of contribution the US share is actually growing. When China and India come online they will contribute substantially more because the populations are so large. But when it comes to carbon footprint per person, we will be hard to beat.

The official figures compiled by independent experts calculate that the US causes 25% of the worlds CO2 emissions, and that's from just 5% of the world population!

Not as much as anyone would think. Don't forget, the USA were one of the first countries to introduce catalytic converters and unleaded fuel and there are some states in the USA (California for instance) that are aiming for zero emissions.

UK emits approximately two percent of the world's carbon. Not sure about USA - probably quite a bit more. None of us is perfect. We're all getting there in our own way.

25%.........from 5% of the world's population.
Trouble is they don't know it. It must be like living in North Korea, to have their media.
