see my friend was suposed to be takeing pictures but made like a hundred little videos....the videos were supposed to go in a sequence like a slide show...I need to make the first frame into a picture -OR- just put all the videos together as on big one

and it kinda needs to be {{ FREE }}.......K...Thanks Sooooo Much

the videos are already on my computer i just need to get the first frame to be a picture....I have:

Picasa 2
Animation Shop 3
Zoom Browser EX

Please Help

If you have Win XP, you should also have Windows Movie Maker. (Maybe check in the Accessories folder) Open Movie Maker and import the video clips into it. Drag the clips into the storyboard/timeline. From there you'll be able to do a video capture in the Preview window.

Your pictures are going to be really low resolution though because digital camera video is WAY different from still pics.

To do this: you should have 3 things:
1. A video reader: That will be attached on your mainboard. It is called something like: 1394 Bus controller.
2. A camera
3. Software to input videos. Like Ulead 6 etc.

And then, capture your video.
If you want to read pictures: Buy a card reader.
