Special pampering kit consisting of.... a bottle of wine (sparkly stuff is nice like Asti Spumante), a really nice bottle of bubble bath, some nice smelling candles to light and put round the bathroom/bath, girly magazine little box of belgian chocs. put them all in a nice girly gift bag and voila!

all that a woman needs for a nice night of pampering.. and if u and anyone else in the house can do the cooking that night and not let her do the "mother thing" at all for the whole day.

Howdy,

£30 is a good sum of money and you can buy so much with that!.

Ebay is en excellent place to buy something because you have so much more choice than in stores. I once bought my mum a very lovely keyring which was made of solid silver and had a classic car on the front and I won it for only £5. She kept it for a long time and is the best present I had ever bought her and it would normally have cost me so much more if bought elsewhere.

It is not what something costs, but more what you buy her that she will like that matters. What is she into?. Only if she likes jewelry then buy her something special and engraved maybe?.
I think something different always pleases people such as a
brooch or pair of clogs for around the house. People are all
different, but I am an earring person and love earrings, so it
all depends upon what you think your mum would like the
most?.

Some people make scrap books and place family photos in
them whilst some mothers would prefer a bottle of wine and
favorite CD. Find out more about what she likes and what her
interests are?. I am sure she will love anything you get her
because you are her daughter and that is what matters most.

Hope she has a great birthday by the way and good luck on
finding her the right present.

With £30 the list is endless. You are the one that knows your mum best. If any of the suggestions you have been given suit go ahead but sometimes it is the things that cost nothing that can mean the most. What about also doing something like getting a special request played for her on the radio on her special day?

The choice is endless. It depends what she likes and whats her favourite things.
My girls buy me, books, flowers, clothes, perfume, plants for my garden.
How about a day at your local college where she can have some well-earned pampering, or treat her to a new hair cut.
Have seen a large glass bowl and in it you place two lillies (or something similar) going around it in opposite directions and fill with water, it looks good.
She will love whatever you buy her I bet. Have a nice day with your mum.

there are loads of things you can buy. you could be her a bracelet from argos that has mum inscribed on it, or you could get her a mum necklace or even personalise the bracelet ( not too sure if it wld cost £30 but it shld)
if not, you could buy her a novel from her favourite write if sher reads... if that still doesnt help, offer to take her out for dinner or better still make a meal for her.. she'l appreciate it.

How about taking her to lunch or coffee and the cinema? Go to an art gallery, a museum, those things doesn't have to be very expensive. I know my mum values time spent with me more than material things so find something she is interested in an share it with her.
