I think he got a little more than the wind knocked out of him. He wasnt moving at all..then came too and was frantic to get the window net down. May have gotten the wind knocked out of him too but he was knocked out for a second for sure. Thank god for the safer barriers and hans device because that was an ugly wreck and if not for that, we wouldnt need to worry about the response time. Thought the response was fine. Of course we would like to see it quicker but there are a lot of variables that go into it. Such as when and IF they throw the caution, location of the wrecked car, how many safety personnel they have on site. Track access from the infield...etc.

No, I don't think that. I know that! Safety crews were not on the ball when that caution came out. For whatever reason, It took an extra 10-15 seconds I thought for them to respond. Thank god that David was just shook up, and the fire wasn't bad @ all. There freezing the field so RIGHT WHEN THE CAUTION COMES OUT, Safety workers can enter the track and get right there on the scene within seconds. What happened during that wreck? I don't know. But I do want answers!

No, I think they got there in force as soon as they could. Remember they have to wait for the caution to come out and then check that no cars are coming before NASCAR says they can go out there. I think FOX may have showed most of the wreck in slow motion to add drama to the incident.

No, I thought they did a great job getting to him quickly. I did notice he got the wind knocked out of him but as soon as he was trying to get out of the car, they were already there. They were on the ball as usualy and deserve a pat on the back for all that they do.

Yeah I agree with everyone, he was just at a hard spot to get to, but everybody did their job really well. I have to admit thogh I kind of got a little humor out of his wreck at one point, right as he hit the wall you heard his own spotter telling him that there was a bad wreck..... Im thinkin "I bet he knows that, you know considering its him!" But all in all everybody did their job.
