I'm thinking this is his way of trying to worm into your affections again. If he did want to get back with you why didn't he contact you personally ? I'm sure he still has your number and knows where you live. The fact that your contemplating not replying says a lot. Do what you want to do and forget about the guy. There's plenty of other guys out there. Good luck !

yes - its not good to hold a grudge against someone. you don't have to speak to him every day, or even every month, but by saying yes, you're just saying no hard feelings, which can only be a good thing. If he does keep contacting you after this, you can just block him, but there's no harm in accepting an olive branch

you must have had good times together before you split up so why not try and stay on good terms

That's up to you. Do you want to be friends with him? If not, either click no or don't reply. If you want to try and get back a friendship with him, click yes.

Are you scared of being hurt? If not, then what have you got to lose? We all say things in the heat of the moment that we regret and making up bond relationships closer. Give him a chance and see what becomes of it, after all, you obviously enjoyed each other's company before the split.

I dont see why it would be bad if you accepted. Talk to him though.

Worse comes to worse, if things are still bad, you can just get out of the friends network and not speak to him again.

Sounds to me like you want to forget about him. Ignore the request. If you answer no he'll probably start pestering you.
