Two of my bottom teeth feel rought at the bit where the tooth is close the the gum. it looks like a bit of plaque but when i feel it with my tongue it feels very rough. Is this a problem? and how do i get rid of it? thanx

It is plaque. You can buy a scraper at any drug store. It will be located by the floss. The best way to get it off is to go to the dentist but if you can't then I suggest buying a scraper at the store. Your mouth will feel much better afterwards. I've done it myself. Good luck!

It is probably just tartar. Tartar is plaque that has hardened. The only way to get it off is with a steel dental pick. I was able to get one at a hardware store. Although everyone I told was horrified, I went back to the dentist after a 10 year layoff and he was amazed to find that I had no tartar buildup and no problems. Get the dental pick.
