I'm not an American and I find almost all the accents interesting in their own way. Some are quite funny like the kinds you get in the Louisiana bayou.. That's actually number two on my list..
But I think the one I really cannot stand is the Valley girl accents..
With the 'Oh my gawd!! Or OMG!!' and 'No way' and "I was like duh!! You know?" Good grief.. The entire 'sublanguage' is spoken with a thin ringing sound in the background (made by the air in a completely vacant brain)...

I'm from Arkansas, but I still find redneck accents annoying. In fact, it's for that very reason that I try to speak with a neutral accent. I also find the Bronx accent and ebonics annoying.

I HATE Kentucky accents. That is a white trash/southern accent for sure. I dont mind the soft, slow southern...but this is different! Ew! Also, I really can't even talk to anyone from Wisconsin!

Yes I'd tend to agree with you..the 'gangster' accent of New York.
I like the quaint drawl of the confederate states, although I can't distinguish between say Louisiana and Alabama.

Poor Amkii, my my, don't you suffer?
To me there's no such thing as a bad accent, just annoying people.
I only ever met one American guy I couldn't understand (nobody else could either) and he was from the hills of east Tennessee. His name was Clyde but everyone thought he was saying Claud or Cloud.

Thinkin' is a Texas ingredient. additionally, fixin'. we don't frequently say it in front of instructors or elders, yet we do around acquaintances and family contributors. i individually like it. I grew up around many diverse accents. My father is from Germany, my mom is from England, my Grandmother is from Washington D.C., and my Grandfather is from the Philippines. I easily have continuously enjoyed absolutely everyone's accessory no count the place they are from. It provides them character. i individually have a "widely used" American accessory (the form used on the information and on the climate channel) mixed with somewhat Texas twang (which I easily tend to hold returned around strangers). My popular American accessory is the Louisianan accessory. I in simple terms think of it is so neat! i don't have a least popular one.

That low class nasal accent used in the south... it's the American equivalent of Cockney.

Annoying heavy southern accents, New Jersey (they pronounce 'ee' like 'ay'....example: "May? I got a say on the test." She really said, "Me? I got a C on the test."), and anything that sounds all preppy and 'dumb blonde.' Haha. Actually I hate Mexican/Hispanic accents in America, since they shouldn't be here, unless they're just visiting...but I guess it's better than hearing Spanish. Nonetheless...SPEAK ENGLISH, PEOPLE! Either way...
