You have to train your body to wake up earlier and in the same time. Set an alarm at the same time and try to wake immediately up after it will go off. Don't let yourself snooze, it's not gonna help you. When alarm will go off sit on the the bed and try to stretch, don't lay back down, you will surely fall back to sleep.
Make your way to the bathroom and wash your face with cool water. If you taking showers every morning (some people prefer evenings), finish it with a cold water. Contrast showers will help you to activate your system and will make you feel alert and ready for a new day. Also it will boost your immune system. :)
Lack of exercise can cause you feel tired and or like you have to have some more sleep.
Try to make changes in your lifestyle.
Your body needs a daily exercise.
The only way to be fit is to exercise on the regular basis: daily if possible. Some benefits of daily exercise are: you don't get sick as often, you have more energy and you sleep better. Exercise doesn't have to be structured.
If it is something you enjoy doing, you'll look forward to it. Walking or riding a bike with your children to school is fun. Even though it may only be a couple of miles, it is something.
If you aren't looking forward to your next workout, do something else. Walking is probably one of the best fat burning exercises you can do - just walk more!
Cross-Training
Every few weeks plan a change in your routine. Note only will your mind be more challenged, your body will have to adapt and the body will benefit from the new stimuli. The body is an amazing adaptable machine. For example, It will begin to burn less fat as an energy source for the same activity if you don't change your programe regularly.
I hope this will help. Take care.

There are two questions:
1. Are you actually sleeping regular hours?
2. Do you find yourself waking at intervals during the night?
If the answer to 1. is yes but 2. is no then you may be suffering from what is termed sleep apnoea. This is a condition where a person almost (but not completely) wakes up many times through the night, sometimes many times in the hour. The result is that a person never enters the deep restorative sleep needed and tiredness results.
It is commonly found in middle aged and overweight persons. In exceptional circumstances (physiological conditions) it can be found in younger persons. It is a condition difficult to diagnose, but worth a visit to a doctor.

Everyone has circadian rhythms. Some people are naturally morning, others are night owls. sounds like yours wants to sleep in. You can retrain yourself to be a morning person, that seems to be what your looking for. But it takes a few months of strict scheduling to do, go to bed at the same time, get up at the same time EVERY day. Eventually your body will get the hint. Having bright light (sunlight is best, but artificial is okay) when you first get up. It is harsh but helps. Less stress and good health are important factors too. Dieting during this time probably isn't a good idea. Good loud alarm clock on an annoying station helps motivate you up to. Another important key get right up and splash water on your face. Soon you should awake by yourself a few minutes before the alarm. Good luck :-)

A really loud alarm clock might do the trick of not over sleeping. Most importantly is self dicipline. Do not linger in bed when you wake up. Get off the bed as soon as you are awake so that you will not fall back to sleep causing more sleep to occur. Hope that helps!

You need to see your doctor. Excessive sleep can be a indicator of other illnesses. You should go and have yourself checked out.

a really loud alarm clock - put it the farthest away from your bedroom (in your kitchen or bathroom) so you'll NEED to get up to switch it off.
