those are questions you're able to be asking the dogs proprietor. considering the fact that she has had the dogs for 6 years already, she would understand if her very own dogs is pleased with being left on my own, she would additionally practice you the dogs fashionable issues to do and the thank you to handle the dogs. sounds like she is a great proprietor and that i'm beneficial she would be keen that can assist you in case you referred to as her. The dogs is already 6 so opportunities are high he's already slowing down slightly and four hours would be spent dozing on a similar time as waiting which you would be able to return homestead.

I would suggest giving your dog a multivitamin made for dogs until you can get him to the vet.... you might even go to a petsmart if you have one in your area.....they have vets on premises who will answer these types of questions.... why are you wanting to give the dog zinc?

NO, you do not give any animal medication that is prescribed for humans or other animals. That includes over the counter medication. Any queries should be directed at the vet, animals bodies are different then humans and it could do more harm then good

Why would you think your dog needs zinc tablets? Did your vet say so? If so, I would imagine he would also tell you what would be suitable for a dog.

Compare the daily amount for dogs to your human tablet perhaps? I would be concerned with overdose as daily requirements depend on weight. You could also ask your vet.

No. If you feed dog food it contains the nutrients your dog needs. If your dog is used for stud, use a stud ration. (Thats the only reason I could think a dog might need more zinc.)
Consult your vet if you think your dog is deficient in zinc; some foods, supplements and medicines safe for human use are toxic for dogs, iron tablets are lethal for dogs but safe for you.
