Don't you think that they think exactly that of Christianity, why put other religions down just because you don't understand them, does not mean that they are outlandish. What if someone came to you and said christianity is outlandish you would not like that one little bit, oh and by the way Im a christian

Hmmmm. The point to the "question" I posted has just been made. Why do you feel the need to insult other people's beliefs? Did you know that Christianity branched off of Judaism? And did you know that Islam branched from there as well? All three religions pray to the same God. Yes, they are known by different names, but that is beside the point. Know what you are talking about before you say something.

Why are you excluding Christianity? You don't think lots of Christian beliefs are outlandish?
One of the beliefs among Christian religions is that you can only get to Heaven if you are a believer. That means that God sends good men to hell just because they aren't Christian. You don't think that is outlandish? You don't think that having a God who uses the same criteria for sending people to Hell that Hitler used for sending people to Auchwitz is at least a little bit odd?

One is prompted to ask why you exclude Christianity from the "oulandish beliefs" category. Christianity poses some real challenges to the credulity, too.
Christianity also defies logic in numerous ways.
I'd be very happy to read why you believe Christianity is less outlandish than other religions.

Ridiculous, of course not. I respect Rabbi's. How can that be? After all I am a Christian. Respect the Dali Lama. I respect the Pope but I am not Catholic. I respect Tibetan Monks. They are all men of God, aren't they? Whatever differences there are, there is more that brings us together then drives us apart.

Jews do not need Christianity to explain their existence or their origin, but Christians cannot explain their existence without Judaism.
I'd say ridiculous is when a god sends his only son to an excruciatingly painful death in order to spare others from accountability and self-responsibility.

You have the right to believe whatever you want. Religious Freedom is guaranteed by the Constitution.
If anyone infringe my religious freedom, I just have to take them to Court, where a nice judge will favor my lawsuit and grant me a lot of money.

Does this include Judaism... you know, that religion Christianity branched off of?
And I wonder just what you consider outlandish. A god becoming a man, to sacrifice himself TO himself in order to keep from getting mad at a sinning creation, he created to begin with... with full knowledge of how it would turn out.
