you are young and your metabolism is still much higher then older people. so get on those track shoes do lots of walking if you are a girl spend lots of time window shopping before you know it you have been walking half the day. so cheer up you can get those pounds off naturally.

You're just verging on becoming overweight. I think you should just keep exercising and using the gym, and also try to eat healthily. Maybe you could get one of the gym instructors to check your body fat percentage, so you know whether you really need to lose weight or maybe you just have a large frame or more muscle mass.
For your age, a good amount of body fat would be between 18% and 26%, although up to 28%-30% is acceptable, but definitely no more than that.
Good luck : )

use this BMI calculator http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmicalc.htm and live by BMI. I am also just 5 ft tall and 128 pounds...according to BMI a good healthy weight should be 125....but we are not too far off the mark so dont fret!!! Just watch what you eat, and dont snack after 7...go for walks or do tae-bo at home. Good-luck. Remember live by BMI.

o, boy, u re obese girl! i am 37, have 3 kids and my height 5'8 and i weight 130 pounds and i am not thin. and do not find excuse that u can't go to gym every day - when i had small kids i was doing exercises at home. every day. then wehen i had 3 children, had job and had to study at university i still went to gym 3 times a week and those days when i didn't go to gym i did exercises at home, when everybody were asleep. for 1 hour is enough. that's how much i wanted to lose weight. u don't want to lose weight, u re just finding excuses not to. but u re obese, it is very bad for heart. especially in your age

If your BMI is over 25 it is considered overweight.
BMI is body Mass Index.
Your weight in KG divided by the square of your height in meter.
weigth/height^2

No your not, your still a growing girl and there is nothing wrong with that. As far as the bmi thing goes i work with a girl who is about your height and she looks like a stick pole, she wears a size 3 and according to the bmi she is over weight, that thing is crap and you shouldn't pay attention to it at all.

Just so push ups and sit ups and run around for a while. You dont need to go to a gym to do that.
