My boyfriend is meeting my grandparents o Friday. I am really scared. I have no idea if my grandparents will like Mat. If they will evewn get along. Please help me.

You should mention to him that it could go one of 2 ways-either really good or really bad. Tell assure him that you will still feel the same regardless of the outcome and I'm sure that will relieve him of some of the pressure. Give him a few conversational tips that could swing the visit in his favor and remember that no matter what happens, their approval is nothing because at the end of the day it comes down to your love.

This is what i did when my bf met my dad and i his for the first time.
We picked his dad from the station and my bf put in a CD of his favorite music ( one we recently bought) into the player. His dad heard it and praised the choice. Of course my boyfriend gave me all the credit (i did actually know the music) and we got talking.
My bf and my dad share the same passion for their cars so i brought it out in the conversation how my car was making these weird sound all week. They both got to offering me the solution and even went out to look at the car together.
Sometimes its better to be prepared to break the ice.

Are you going with someone decent or a punk? Do not try to put anything over on them as they have seen it all I imagine at their age. Grandparents are a lot smarter then they are given credit for.

Tell Mat to be kind and respectful even if he feels that your grandparents are somewhat cold towards him.No one will ever be good enough for you in their eyes,so be positive.Good luck!
