I am going to the Gold Cup and have Tickets for the Tattersalls and also two seats in the Guinness grandstand. Could anybody advise me where abouts the Guinness stand is in relation to the course and also how easy or difficult it will be to get drinks at the bar and get my bets on for each race. I have looked on the Cheltenham site but can't seem to find this info. I was hoping people with experience might be able to help/advise.

The Guiness stand is by the last two fences on the Tatts side and gives a great view. Trying to get a drink or a bet on at the festival is hard work but well worth the effort! Have a look at horses in the parade ring, then go to the bookies before the bell sounds or you will struggle to get on. If you know what you want to back early on try the Tote as the returns are as good as S.P. most of the time. It's only two weeks and I can't wait, see you there!

I am going Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this year and then to my "home" course of Uttoxeter for Midland Grand Nationaland if it is anything like last year then Tuesday and Thursday should be ok in terms of getting a drink and a bet on but Friday will be difficult. Also not worth drinking too much due to the que for the toilets. Happy betting

Its looking more likely all the time. I think Long Run will beat him though, even with a second rate jockey aboard. I would love to see McCoy ride Long Run and Ruby on Kauto. It won`t happen though.
