As long as u are not with anyone else and he is not too - then go for it - he obviously still wants u and u have feelings for each other - u cant just throw away 4 years like that ! have a small talk with him ...u never know - u might just end up back together ! Good luck to u !!

Sex is different and love & marriage / committment are different. Both of you like to have sex and you had it for 4 years realised that you do not set in as good spouse and got separated but the sex desire always remains and hence such accidents occur. One thing is sure unless both of you compromise on certain things and have a committment that you will stay together inspite of facing both known and unknown hurdles whole through your life you cannot stay married and hence continuing such a relationship is not good for both of you and this would ruin all new relationships too.

No it's not weird and I would think that after four years, you would still feel some kind of connection. However, don't let yourself fall into the trap of having a relationship with him again. He'll just leave you again.

He is sop using you. He is lonely. Tell him no more sex until he commits. He dated you for 4 1/2 yearsw. Surely that is enough time to make up his mind. The only caonnection he feels is not emotional.

Sounds like he is just saying that to keep you willing to do what he wants. He is just using you, open your eyes and stop it. He left because he doesnt want the commitment and youre giving him the message that its ok to use you when it really isnt. Walk away.

Yes. He is just using you. He gets the sex with none of the commitment.

Oh my God!! im in the same situation, its scary!!!... i slept with my ex yesterday & he broke up with me 3 months ago after 5 years... we had a big argument last night & i have realised that it needs to stop... why should we give in to them, they dump us & then we sleep with them.. they cant have their cake & eat it too... dont do it to yourself anymore.. im putting a stop to it myself!!!

its pretty common actually.

he sounds conflicted (or he lied to get you into bed). did he say it before sex or after?

do you understand the reasons for the breakup? has anything changed?

Enjoy the sex, and if you aren't interested in getting back together, then if he starts to get clingy, drop him!!! :D
