You will be able to change it a little by voice coaching, but it wont be a huge difference. The deepness of the sound is due to the size of the voice box, there are some drugs which can do this as a side effect but this is not the primary reason for them. I have searched the net for info but I can find nothing useful. If it is causing you a serious problem then maybe discuss it with your doctor, he may be able to help you.

It depends how big a change you're talking about, and whether you mean singing or talking....

You would probably need to visit a speech therapist who could give you excercises to practice, though I can't imagine you could change your natural voice that much (you would have to talk in an 'affected' tone, ie. deliberately talk lower etc, rather than it being natural).

Hopefully there are some speech therapists etc on here that can provide advice?

Not really-your voice is the way it is because of the shape of your vocal chords, and if they don't change, neither will your voice.
