Which explains my earlier question about Cains finding a wife in Genesis 4:17. Genesis 2:7-9 God created Adam and the garden of Eden. Why? Adam was placed above ALL mankind and a special dwelling place was built for him and a special woman was created for him too. I kind of understand the significance in relation to Adam being chosen special as God's "child" and his being an innocent. Was he created as a symbol of mankinds innocence that was NOT present on earth and God wanted the
image of Himself untouched by man's free will and kept Adam away from the concept of good and evil?

It would REALLY be helpful if those of you who "claim" to not believe would simply not respond with your negative comments. I am serious about this undertaking. IF you don't believe then don't answer. Just because you are confused, you forcing your banter on me isn't going to sway me from studying the Bible and learning from it.

we cant be images of God, cause then by being an image then you make God limited to measures and he is not, therefore we cant be images,

I do believe in God, but the story the way u put it doesnt make much sense,

he blessed Adam and Eve with something that never blessed other creatures, which is the brain, the ability to think, analyze and take our own decisions, therefore our ability to rule the earth, he asked us to worship him in return, not cause he needs our worshiping, but cause its what we have to do in response to our creator.

Adam was the first to do evil, he was the first to be tempted and acted wrongly against his the rules of his creator, so that was a lesson to humans, that Good and Evil doesnt exist in a mere form but both are in us, either we take our decision in a good or bad way, evil or good,

alot can be said here, but i will stop here

Adam and Eve were the first 2 people on the earth, and by them all people have come, there was no others created besides them.

From the referees to Cain finding a wife, I take it you think that there had to be other people so that Cain could find a wife that was not his sister. But it was OK to marry your sister back than, God did not make that a sin until over 1000 years latter (and the gene pool was pure in the beginning so there was no birth defects because of such a marriage.

Wow, that's a question that you might not get a satisfactory answer to until you get to heaven.
Personally, I don't think Adam was created as a symbol of mankind's innocence -- even though he was innocent. Mankind certainly does have a special place in creation since we are in God's image.
Adam did have free will though. If God didn't intend for man to have free will, I don't think Adam would have even had access to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Adam had free will to obey God or not to obey God.

No Maam, He was not created as a symbol of anything.
When he was created in God's image, he was given the fruitages of the spirit.
Also, Cain did marry a sister.
Abraham married his half sister.
God allowed this for a while.
Before it would become a genetic problem, he outlawed it.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.

My interpretation of your question, "Why was Adam, as special as he was, placed in the garden of Eden because isn't Adam a symbol of mankind's original innocence which God kept in heaven because He wanted an Adam which would not be able to know good and evil?"

Adam is not just a symbol, God placed him in the garden of Eden because Adam was perfect and innocent, the image of Himself, and deserved to be in paradise. Also, God loved Adam and wanted to take care of him in a wonderful place.

Adam is the first true man, a son of God. To us he symbolizes what man once had and what man lost. When that happened, we all became children of the devil, this includes Adam.

Jesus is God come in the flesh. Jesus does represent a second Adam, but an Adam (man) which never fell. Jesus remained the son of God, and will remain forever the only begotten true son of God. In this sense, Jesus, the second Adam, the last Adam, is a symbol of man's innocence that is kept in heaven.

If we choose Jesus, then we can become sons of God, just like Adam was at one time (and in which Adam later became again, but only through Jesus). This is a gift that is given to us by Jesus.

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

We all have a choice, to chose God or not. Adam was not kept away from the knowledge of good and evil, he was given a choice to know it or not, to obey God or not. Originally it was God's plan that Adam never know good and evil, to just remain in innocence, to live forever in paradise. We do not know what such a world would have been like, if he, and those who were born to him in paradise, would have never chosen to disobey God.

Maybe you are asking in a sense, if Adam did not know what he was doing was wrong, then why did God hold him responsible for his disobedience? If Adam loved God, he would have obeyed him, even if he did not know if it was wrong.

But also, Adam was very intelligent. He knew what was good. He just did not know what was the difference between good and evil, or what evil was exactly. It is like knowing something is good for you, but not having the understanding of why. And it is like not knowing the consequences of what will happen if you do something bad, and why this would be so. He had to trust God that he should stay away from all this, but he did not. He failed to trust God, and instead listened to Eve his wife.

Eve was tricked into not trusting in God by the devil. But it was more than that, she desired to be as God. This is like chosing yourself to be God, rather than chosing God. I think Adam knew this part, but did not understand it, until he ate the fruit. Eve understood this and gave it to Adam anyway, making her sin greater.

Get an education! The story of Adam and Eve is a myth. Never happened.
