um, im not sure if thats anxiety. do you worry about things obsessivley that you cant change? that sone. its true that lack of sleep is a sypton. however i really think you should get counselling so you can talk to someone knowledgeable about it. there are several helpful methods to quell this feeling.

This happened to me. I did all the tests and I was ok, the problem was anxiety caused by sleep apena. I went through something stressfull just after many weeks of little sleep. The stressful event, plus the many weeks of 3-4 hours sleep eventually lead to sleep apnea. If not treated sleep apnea can be very dangerous. At first I would wake up in my sleep, like I lost my breath or something, I could not get a full night's sleep. Later as the problem continued I would get constricting chest pan and had a hard time breathing. This was pure anxiety casued by the lack of sleep. Later, one day while I was driving to work, I heard a ZAP in my head and voices too. This really freaked me out and I thought I was going nuts. Chances are this arose from the screwed up connections in my brain from the lack of sleeep and stress. I went to the doctor and she sent me for a bunch of tests that found nothing, she said that it was sleep apnea and gave me 2 drugs and sent me home to sleep for 2-3 days. The one drug (I cant remember what it was, was an anti depressant which acted like a sleeping pill), the other was awsome it was Ativan. Ativan took all the stess away and I felt like my muscles around my chest were melting, it relaxed me enough to be able to sleep. Go see a good, I stress good, doctor soon.
