God does not punish His people.
God has given everyone the opportunity to come to Him in faith and repentance

The only people who will be punished, are those who reject God's mercy and do not receive the message of the Gospel
that Jesus died for your sin and mine, that He rose again on the third day and later ascended to Heaven, and now sits on the right hand of God.

Children of God are people who are born again and follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Anyone not born again is a child of the devil. We have a choice, even you. Once you are born again, only then will you experience the Holy Spirit working in you to change your ways to the way God wants you to be. We call this being convicted. Only people who have repented their sins to God, (not a priest or minister) and have accepted Jesus as their savior, will experience this. We then get judged by grace, not by the law of the Ten Commandments. All this IS in the Holy Bible, although many religions don't follow it. That is why you have people witnessing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ones who don't want to follow the truth and live by tradition or by religion or by their own convictions of what they feel is right or wrong will end up in the lake of fire. This is not me judging anyone, but this is what God says in the Bible. Take it or leave it. Your choice.

Hell is not wanting God in our lives. The punishment of hell fire is not to be taken literally. The fire represents the worst thing that can happen to us. The choice is ours, not Gods.
The word for children and servants are the same in the Bible. At the time of Jesus, the words were used differently then used today. When translated into English, we get the different words.
We are both children and servants of God.

What???God punishing his children in hell fire for the sins they committed???Who told you this???We will not go to hell because of the sins we have committed, those that do will because they remained in a state of spiritual death. Our sins have already been forgiven and upon receiving spiritual life we receive forgiveness as well.We can't receive total forgiveness while we are still spiritually dead and dead in our sinful ways. When Jesus died for our sins it was for ALL SIN from beginning of the world to the end. When we are saved we are literally saved from the bondage of sin and the power it has over us and we receive the Holy Spirit which guides us and loves us.Those who are saved are literally like people who are drowning and someone reaches out and pulls them to safety.God would never hurt any of his children, but the ones who do not know him because they reject him are lost and therefore he doesn't know who they are and cannot save them.We have free will and He will not force us to love Him.We need to admit we are sinners and ask Jesus to come into our life and be our Lord and Savior and most of all we need to want to stop sinning and let Jesus show us the right way.And by the way hell was never meant for us,it was meant as a prison for satan and his legions.People who die and go to hell are tresspassing because they don't belong there,it was never meant for us.But satan caused man to fall into darkness, what better way to hurt God than to kill his beloved children? That's exactly what satan did,he hurt God by causing us to die but Jesus saved us by being punnished for all of us and giving us back the life that's necessary to save us.satan won the battle but he lost the war.We fight not for victory but from victory. All you need to do is seek him with all your heart and you will find him.Believe me,our father would never hurt us.I needed to add that only people who have reached the age of accountability go to hell if they are unsaved and I think that is 13 years old and older.Children I believe are automatically taken back to Heaven if they die before they reach 13.I will do more research on this so I can be certain.

Under any human law a father that treats his children in the manner he does would be locked up as criminally insane. As his slaves that is a different matter. Who gives a damn about slaves anyway. He don't.

We are all children of God. God created us we are His creatures. He is our Father. Jesus enabled us to become adopted children of God. Jesus taught us to call God our Father in the prayer Jesus taught us. God doesn't punish His people for their sins. He punishes those who reject Him and His commandments. He punishes those who follow the devil and do the work of satan on earth. He punishes those who kill His children. He punishes those who refuse to serve Him. He punishes those who steal and worship money instead of the true God. There is nothing wrong with being a servant of God. In fact, in Catholicism, the saints are called servants of God. This is the highest honor that can be given to a person. The Holy Father, the Pope, is called the servant of servants. Jesus washed the feet of the apostles. He gave us an example of service. He is the King of kings and His kingship and authority are used to serve His people. To serve God is an honor and a joyful experience and privilege. This is a privilege because to serve God is a source of immeasurable joy. A good leader is good only if he uses his authority to serve his people. We are both children and servants of God and this makes us lucky to have such a good Father and King to serve. He is all good and deserves all our love. When we serve Him, we attain meaning in life. We fulfill our mission in life. We attain salvation and eternal happiness with Him in heaven. Jesus saidCome to Me if you are tired and I will refresh you for My burden is easy and my yoke is light. To serve God is not hard, Jesus carries the cross with us. God does the work we are mere instruments of God.

No, God doesn't send us to hell for the sins we've comitted. Its our OWN choice if we want to go to Heaven or Hell. We humans are sinners, yes, that's why God sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. Also, if you commit your sins to the Lord, and repent, the Lord will definitely forgive you 100% (of course you must be sincere as well). You also have to believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the price of man's sins and that He is Saviour and Light to the world. One more thing, God LOVES you that's why He sent His only begotten son to die for our sins to save us.

For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God." (John 3:16-18)
