I'm atheist.
1) Evolution / Intelligent Design in public schools.
I don't feel I could compromise on this one. If it's a public schoo, then religion shouldn't be taught, in any way, shape, or form.
2) Abortion
Another issue I won't compromise on. I'm very firmly pro-choice.
3) Gay marriage
This should be a non-issue. What problem can possibly stem from two happily married people, whether they be two men, two women, or a man and a woman?
4) Pledge of Allegience / "In God We Trust" on currency
I'd rather it not be there, but I'm OK with it staying. I've got bigger battles to fight.
5) Wiccan, etc symbols on gravestones of slain soldiers
I didn't even know this was an issue. If they allow crosses, then they need to allow other religious symbols, too.
6) Grants/scholarships for students who want to major in theology (since in many cases they are not given to theology majors)
I'm OK with students recieving grants/scholarships for theology majors. It's a college degree just like any other.

All the matters you bring up are only the small ones among thousands of other problems in the world which can easily be solved.
They seem complicated only because we have not adopted the essential base for analyzing reasonably and solve them with true knowledge, and more importantly, with love.
True religion tolerate all things, except the things which harm the human progress by disregarding the law of the One True God. Yes, we must first encourage knowledge and love. Ignorance and hatred are now the cause of sufferings to all people, whether they are religious or not. Fora like this one will efficiently help.
I am believer of the Baha'i Faith. You can get more information about it at

1) Evolution taught in science class, since there is a scientific basis for the theory.
2) I'm pro choice.
3) Everyone should be given equal chance to marry.
4) neither of these things bother me, one way or the other.
5)Everyone deserves equal chance to have their faith displayed on their gravestone. I don't think the VA should have to "approve" of anything.
6) The world needs faith leaders. Even if someone doesn't believe, the world still needs that choice.

1) Compromise if given equality and only mentioned in their relevant section: Evolution in Biology, Creationism in Religious class.
2)Compromise
3) Compromise
4) Compromise
5)Compromise
6)Compromise
I don't have a problem with most of those actually. After the first one I think they should all be allowed and if someone wishes it their right to choose should be enforced.

This is not a test of any source except you own. You list everything Christians are against and then you try and make it an open minded test. That is about the silliest conjecture I've heard. Do you seriously think others will think as you do and would make all Christians closed minded on everything? Get serious little man... God Bless.

4 It is the wrong 'god' people are trusting in. and 5 if a person wants to advertize that they serve a false 'god' they should have that option. 6 who is giving these grants? are they tax money? if so I don't think they should be given to any student. If it is provate maney, I guess they should have the choice of what to do with their money. for myself, I choose to do those things that YHVH approves.
