Because you are not the apple of his eye.
Rather than complain about the 98% eyesight The Good Lord God Jehovah On High gave you, why don't you rejoice in the 2% that He did give you?
Or, maybe you have a beam in your eye.

It's unfair isn't it? Why should I have 20/20 vision and you not? I also have 2 working feet and legs perfect hearing and an acceptable IQ. I thank God for these and the other many blessings he has given me. I have a few "flaws" I have arthritis and no thyroid. I thank God most that he allows me not to dwell on these flaws and be thankful for the other things he has given me. There is no PERSON that can answer your question for you.

God didn't give you that... Humans did...
Look around, do you come from relative parents? which is a "warned-to-conclude- Marrige by God?
Did your mother recieved clean air while you were in her womb? or polluted carbonized air, as God prohibited...?
Have your mother/father ceased drinking and smoking while she was pregnant? smoking.. which is prohibited by God, invented by us...
After all, in My Religion; God says to Mosses after very tough tests:
" I've created you for myself.. you are the apple of my eye"..
"whomsoever sufferes from his eyes; has nothing as a reward but Aden "heaven"

Uh what?
I am legally blind in both eyes. I don't complain though because I can see fine. And yes both of those statements are 100% true. I am blind and I can see perfectly.

oh...God didn't...(in fact....god gives you courage and strength, and heaps of stuff so you can overcome your problems & challenge).
I know its unfair...some ppl are born with beauty, some ppl are born deaf/mute. The thing is...ppl are born differently so human kind can learn to look at beauty and the world more deeply, than just exterior beauty. And learn to overcome difficulties in life.
p/s: why are you complaining? there are glasses, and surgeries?

You have a choice You either go with Darwin and bad luck with the genes or you can go with god who is testing your faith-one of his favorite pass times.

~ Because of the sin of your parents...
~ John 9:2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
~ But, be brave, Four Eyes... there are others who have NO limbs; others with no vision at all; others with no hearing... some with combinations of all... or worse... so, be giving praise to the Lord for what you DO have... Thank You JESUS! Amen.
