If you are in the UK, there is a company called the Big Yellow Storage Place (i think that's the right name) They sell packs of all different sizes etc and also Argos now do them. I have used the Big Yellow boxes and they last for a very long time. I have had to move a lot of times and they are still moving me!!!!

If you are in the UK then try Morplan or Ikea
Also storage warehouse such as Shurgard, Big Yellow, The Storage Depot, Safestore, Access self storage.
Staples (stationery) sell cardboard boxes.
Try supermarkets. some will have empty ones for you to take away.
I get a good supply by getting them for free off the street. I'm talking about busy shopping streets such as Kings Road or Kensington High Street in London. On certain days the shops put out their rubbish for collection. Usually this will include cardboard boxes. So get them before the binmen collect. Make sure it's not raining.

If you live near a store like Target or (gag) Walmart, go to them when they are stocking the store and ask either an employee who is working in say the furniture dept or a manager if you can get some big empty boxes from them. They usually are happy to give them to you. Bring a box cutter too, if they don't break them down for you.

You can but them from UHaul, but a lot can fit nicely into the boxes that paper comes in and they give them away at places like Kinko's--might take a few trips. Also check dumpsters behind stores for flattened out cardboard boxes their merchandise came in.

You really don't have to buy carboard boxes.. you can only go to a store and ask them if you can take some of there carboard or if they are willing to give you som.. i'm sure they will i used to work in a grocery store when i was in school for part-time and people would always go ask for them and we would give a lot... so try to do the same thing

If you're in the UK most self storage places sell them - along with bubble wrap and lots of other useful stuff. Otherwise you could try ebay or do an internet search as there are some companies who advertise online. Good luck!

Most truck rental companies, like U-Haul, sell moving supplies. If you're looking for some freebies, check out the local produce department .

Best option is to go to the local shop or supermarket. They will happily give you as many as you can carry. If you call your moving company they may be able to give you some boxes but they will probably be expensive.

Office stationery places like Rymans and Staples sell them (flatpack) for archiving files etc. Pretty strong, though they aren't cheap. Try Googling "R-kive", which is one of the brands.
But, if you are using a removal firm, they might lend you some a few days beforehand.
