As long as the Chinese communists can feed their huge population they will be an economic ally, no more. I don't see them joining us in any military ventures or for political reasons because they are communists. They have a very rigid control on their own people. The main issues with them would be over Taiwan, whether or not the US would come to their defense in the event of an attack from the mainland; and North Korea. North Korea is like a little brother to the Chinese. They find them a nuisance, but would support them militarily if the US tried to bomb Kim Jong Il. Economically, I'd say they are allies because we both need one another for economic markets. Militarily and politically, there is always the potential for war. I'd say overall they are a future enemy.

The US and Chinese governments have secretly agreed to create a national prison out of the USA. This explains all the cameras and sensor portals being installed at all critical junctions. Many smart people will soon begin to leave the USA, and by the time the average Joe 6-pack wakes up, it will be too late.

I think china likes the money we give em by buying stuff from there. It is a symbiant relationship we get cheap goods they get our money and business. It is bittersweet we get cheap goods but at what price how are the chinese that make your happy meal toys living? I don't think most Americans wanna face the fact if we went in and enforced human rights violations that same happy meal toy would skyrocket in price. We are money's whores for cheap goods at the prices of sixteen cents a day for a labourer in china. What a travesty.

China can ONLY be an ally. The consequences of anything other than that are too great to consider.

China has always been duplicitous but for now were on good terms. Although they're really getting agressive with creating influence in many countries right now. Long term plans are worth looking into.

China has been attacked many times in the last two hundred years by foreign powers, had it occurred to you they regard USA the same way you regard them.
