Cry, stand back up and brush yourself off. We can't choose our family is an understatement. Sometimes placing distance between them and you is best for everyone. A wise woman once told me just because they are your family doesn't mean you have to accept their bad behavior. Talk about the weather, but don't let your guard down. Or if you have to, walk away. As painful as it may seem, later down the road you will see a much better future with less pain. I know this because It took me many years of suffering to find out. I live in a different part of the country from my family and o boy what a difference that makes. I never talk about anything negative in my life. I don't elaborate on the good, braging so to speak. Most of the time I say all is well, whats going on in your world. Now everyone seems fine. Counseling and reading lots of books works. I could tell you some stories about my family but I would be here until the arc angel came to take me. Besides, we all have family problems at one time or another. Sometimes worse than ours. (I mean a lot worse). That sun shines tomorrow if you let it. Try meditating and seeing them having more and being happy. Ask that for them everyday. It is hard to do at first but after a while you will see that in some strange way it makes you feel better. It never hurts to send out something positive in the world. It keeps you alive, and well. Look on the bright side, I just saved you some big bucks from a couple of counceling sessions. Hey, share the knowdledge right? Best wishes to you!
