Love is an source of feelings, that can never be empty...and it should not be tried to be tamed or possessed by force.
Love chooses you, you cant choose love.
It will bring you happiness, and sorrow, In every way, as received or as given.
Sometimes love touch you, like gentle wind, and other times it will knock you of your feet's, like a hurricane.
Love is power full and can hurt, even kill you, in doses of to much or to little.
-All i know, I have experienced it's good and bad side, and I know
I could not have survived, or be shaped as the man I am today, without the sorrow, or the happiness , Love brought me.
My advice is not to try understand Love, just be open for it; no matter the way it touches you.

I was once asked this off guard by a guy. After I stumbled to come up with a definition, here is what he told me:
Love isn't just an emotion or a feeling. It is an action. It is doing something when you do not feel like it or do not want to do it. An example: A mother waking up in the middle of the night to cover her baby with a blanket so that is is not cold. That is love.

Love is a force that no-one can really plan for, it just takes you over without warning. It gets in your head, in your heart and in your very spirit, in the very fiber of who you are and makes you act totally out of your norm. It makes you smile when no-one is telling a joke. It makes you sing when there is no music playing anywhere. It is a drug that takes you up so high, that you don't even concern yourself with coming down, WHY, because it feels so good, mere words, can't offer a good enough definition. It is just an over-powering force that heals any hurt! And I do mean, Any Hurt.

Love is finding the right person that you want to spend the rest of your life with. Love is being in a relationship with another person. Love is caring about how the other person is feeling and putting their needs before yours.

Love...its pretty difficult to explain this word..
According to me, its a feeling that you, as a person, have towards someone, which result in a state of mind, where you feel that the entire world is with u...once you love a person, u will not run away from him/her even if he/she hurt you to the core...rather u patiently accepts the pain and give all the care you have...

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

theres two types:
1. a parent for his child, unconditional devotion.
2. boy-girl stuff. This is hormone driven and is really a state of brainwashing e.g. films, TV, songs on the radio etc.. It passes away gradually, may be weeks or may be decades but it will pass - ask any married couple!
