My wife cheated about 9 months ago, i had a gut feeling it was going on and some unsolid evidence. I tried to raise the question and threw comments out there but to no avail, but once i had solid proof it all came out. I was going to leave she begged me not to an cut him off. I got arrested and fired from work when i tried to beat the **** out of him, (he called the cops and pressed felony charges on me, go figure, we worked together by the way) so we moved out of state. I had the same gut feeling a couple years before but she swears nothing happened then. How do i get past this mentally? I do ok for a few months and then freak out and she doesnt mind because she says I have every right to get mad or upset with her. Do I need a shrink?? it really drives me crazy at times, please read this all and help!

Well sorry to hear your bad news! But in my opinion you will never forget that she cheated on you so do think that you can!
If you love her than you have to forgive her and if you cann't forgive her then you have to let her go and move on!

Sadly, the feeling will be likely to leave. It is possible that eventually you will forget about it. It may feel like it never happened or it was just a thing in the past. Loving her does not help you at this point, because it stops you from doing what you know you should do. You should have left, but being married there are many barriers to this so it is understandable that you are trying to work things out. If you ever want to truly get over this I suggest looking inside of yourself spiritually, becoming involved in philosophy, reading about the "whys" in the universe and thinking of your own opinions about these things. Ask yourself what love is, and why you feel that you love her. Discover what it means to be moral and to be human. Start finding out who you are and eventually you will find whether or not you yearn to be with her, or you will move on.

You'll never forgive her for betraying you. Horrible feeling...
However she tries to say she's sorry, you won't forgive her. She should have thought first before banging some other guy, now, shouldn't she? I guess you secretly want to make her suffer so she feels the pain you do. But trust me it's hurt her most, when you say "It's ok. I forgive you" And stop talking about it.
