I guess he was shy aswell. Caused he blushed, smiled & nodded his head :) Do u hav his contact num? Maybe u cld ask him out for dinner or something first, since he dosnt have ur number. Im sure after the first date, both of u will be more comfortable :) All the best!

He was surprised, & amused by YOU asking him out.... hence his blushing & smiling, also he didn't want to hurt your feelings by telling you he wasn't interested or feelings weren't the same.
To say "take it easy" to you is as if to say "Don't Take it Too Hard"
