Of course, particularly because there are several countries competing for hegemony. Each country is trying to one-up each other, and trying to challenge the world order.
Many countries are asking themselves, "why is that the United States controls my fate..." and they are trying to do something about it.

Inevitably, yes. First of all, there will always be conflicts. You can sign as many peace treaties as you want but there will always be conflicts in opinion or culture. These can lead to military action. There will always be disputes over countries' borders, maybe a new emerging superpower. Our weapons are getting more and more deadlier, and people are getting afraid. Therefore, I would be highly surprised if no one in the world ever sent troops against anyone again because that would mean that we had either reached world peace (very unlikely) or everyone was dead. Humans can always hate, and they will always be able to fight.

since the beginning of time there have been differences of opinion and these opinions can not coexist. So Caveman A hits Caveman B with a stick. Caveman A's friend hits cave man B with a stick. Caveman B's friend chimes in next thing you know we have a very primitive military conflict and these ideas will forever be part of humanity/inhumanity. If there are two people left on the planet there will be some degree of military conflict.

Given the historical trend of human development. The answer would have to be a resounding and blatantly obvious yes.
There will always be conflicts so long as there are limited resources, philosophical disputes, land, and human error.
We should strive to solve our problems and prevent conflicts as best as we can in the future. It's an impossible goal, at least in the short run, but we may yet do some good.
Until we transcend our weaknesses as a species, we will always have problems which lead to conflict and conflict that leads to war.

I believe so.
It is human nature to disagree. Since as far back as the human civilization can be traced there has been military conflict. If humans change, then our nature will. Until then, military conflicts, and conflicts in general will continue happening.
My father was in the US Army for 22 years, and used to say that there is no such thing as peace, because someone is always unhappy.

By all means there will be more military conflicts in the future. It's inevitable because as long as nations or rogue nations have differences due to society, religion, or cultural issues, mankind will always find reasons to fight one another. Currently there are 41 major wars in the world. In comparison, in the turbulent 1960's, there were only 6. Now the weapons used are more dangerous and sophisticated, too. Unfortunately, 75% of all casualties are non-combatants--older men, women and children. I also believe in the notion of end times where Armageddon will come to be as the largest and final war to end all wars. Until then, conflicts will always occur.

Yes. Because no matter what treaty is signed for peace now or at any time in the future, there will be someone, somewhere who will think it is not fair and go to war to change it.

Unfortunately yes, for the heart of man still has not found peace since he broke off his relationship with God, his creator, ever since in the Garden of Eden. Now only God's kingdom of peace can only be found in the heart of man when they allow God, through Jesus Christ to come live in their hearts.

Of course. All countries are getting more advanced in the way they fight. And the U.S. seems like they are the big bully that can do whatever we want. Sometime someone is going to stand up against the bully. And while the bully is in the middle of the fight thats when the others join in, on the bully's side, and on the side of the one that was picked on. Then EVERYONE will be fighting. We will call that WW III.
