Nope! You need a commercial pilot's license or an instructor license to do any kind of work. A private pilot's license is just for personal use.

"A Private Pilot Certificate is a basic pilots license that allows you to fly passengers or property, but not for compensation or hire. The operating expenses may be shared with the passengers involved via a pro rata share. This certificate will allow you to fly in visual weather conditions anywhere in the United States."

You can fly a private, non commercial aircraft. That is about it

To do any kind of "for hire" flying you need to have your commercial rating.

i dont think it will get you into constuction or factory jobs but you can fly your private plane
