Why oh why cant people use?

the spell check when they write their messages, It takes long enough reading all the rubbish they write without it taking three times as long

because it doesn't always work. sometimes it simply spins round and never goes onto the spell check and while i agree it is more time consuming to read badly spelt answers give a small thought for the poor person who has endeavoured to spell it correctly and cant. I am a teacher and know how many people have genuine problems with spelling, it is not laziness or ignorance but simply a blindness, to put it simply they cant see their mistakes and no amount of saying use a ditionary will help. How do you know what to look up if you dont know you have made the mistake in the first place. and yes i used the spell checker

If Sabrina who says she is a teacher but can't put in an apostrophe or even check her own submission, what chance do the kids have. As to having the time! If you have time to be on this site at this time of the day, then you have ample time to do the job properly.

maybe they do it on purpose..they may think it is easier to write slang style..it is shorter words ..and they are also probably used to it..because maybe they write like this when they chat to others..so it just comes naturally.

It doesn't bother me at all when people make spelling mistakes ... If that's all u have to worry about in life ...lucky you !

its the 'txt' culture duder. all is shortened or abbreviated or mispelled or not puntuated coz people don't have the time or couldn't be a**ed doing it properly no mo'.
