why do you keep blaming islam?

why? i know that those radical muslim are to blame but people still blaming islam for everything thats happened. lets say that the total death caused by radical muslim are about hundred thousand something but that still cant compete with the casualties of world war 2 that is 60 MILLION! did islam starts the war? no but it was christians and yet people still believe that islam is the religion of violence. my point is all religion always taught its people to do goodness its human fault so please stop blaming islam for everything bad that happens.

simon templar - i know that diffrent kind of islam sects always hate each other. they always at war so the younger generation suffers alot and their heart is filled with hatred thus when they grow up they will become terrorist. thats why education and brotherly love is important.

After all, all those Terrorists go around screaming Allahu Akbar!?!?

And their Organizations are named al Queda, Lashkar e Toiba and stuff like that!?!? Very Christian sounding names, huh????

It's just that the Muslims happened to massacre others in Chechnaya, Somalia, India and recently the Buddhists in Southern Thailand!?!? Heck, how can you blame Islam for what the Muslims do, eh????

Oh, by the way, who has been massacring the Shias, Sufis, Kurds, Ahmediyyas, Ismaelis and so on upto the recent Baha'is???? After all, those are Muslims, too!? It's just that they aren't Sunnis!

So, how can we blame the Muslims for their Islam????

Well, let's hope that good Education will help these people change their ways!? I think that till the Imams are removed and the Mosques are levelled, it won't change matters; because the bad elements will hold sway from there!

I agree with you 100% , people forget that its not the religion that is doing wrong , it is some extremist that are doing wrong, Most muslims are peaceful people who follow Islam according to the Quran.
However most of the world has always hated muslims, so after september 11th, they used that as thier way of publicly hating muslims. The millions of people that christians have killed over the years have been conveniently forgotten. Now christians & others want to call all muslims babarians, but in my opinion the people that killed the most should be labelled babarians

In my own opinion, the problem is not in the number of casulaities. The real problem is in the ideology itself. In the definition of the word "JIHAD". In the many wars that prophet Muhammad had to engage in to spread his religion. In the many other wars that Abu Bakr had to engage in to keep the religion.

The real problem is in the teachings. See Al Anfal, Al Tawba, and many other Suras.

Let's not discuss "radicals," but rather examine the book that is common to all Muslims, the Quran, which contains the principles binding on all Muslims.

Don't be friends with Jews or Christians:
Sura 5:51: "O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your allies and protectors: They are but allies and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust."

Slit throats of unbelievers:
Sura 47:4: "Now when ye meet in battle those who disbelieve, smite at their necks; until when you have overcome them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost.

Amputation for petty theft:
Sura 5:38: "Cut off the hands of thieves, whether they are male or female, as punishment for what they have done a deterrent from God: God is almighty and wise."

Killing unbelievers:
Sura 9:123: "O ye who believe! fight the unbelievers who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that Allah is with those who fear Him."

So it may not be fair to "blam[e] islam for everything bad that happens," but the evidence seems to be abundant.

I agree. Unfortunately 9-11 did a lot of damage to the reputation of Islam. Yes, it was the minority who committed those crimes, but many people don't like or want to rationalize the facts and find it easier to hate Islam than to learn the truth.
