Can you and your son be the same person? No. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit aren't a person.
Jesus is God's first creature."He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation"-Colossians 1:15.
The Holy Spirit is God's active force. At Genesis 1:2 the Bible states that "God's active force ["spirit" (Hebrew, ruach)] was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters." Here, God's spirit was his active force working to shape the earth.
Many centuries before the time of Christ, there were triads, or trinities, of gods in ancient Babylonia and Assyria. The French "Larousse Encyclopedia of Mythology" notes one such triad in that Mesopotamian area: "The universe was divided into three regions each of which became the domain of a god. Anu's share was the sky. The earth was given to Enlil. Ea became the ruler of the waters. Together they constituted the triad of the Great Gods."
The book "The Symbolism of Hindu Gods and Rituals" says regarding a Hindu trinity that existed centuries before Christ: "Siva is one of the gods of the Trinity. He is said to be the god of destruction. The other two gods are Brahma, the god of creation and Vishnu, the god of maintenance. . . . To indicate that these three processes are one and the same the three gods are combined in one form."—Published by A. Parthasarathy, Bombay.
A Dictionary of Religious Knowledge notes that many say that the Trinity "is a corruption borrowed from the heathen religions, and ingrafted on the Christian faith." And The Paganism in Our Christianity declares: "The origin of the [Trinity] is entirely pagan."
WHY, for thousands of years, did none of God's prophets teach his people about the Trinity? At the latest, would Jesus not use his ability as the Great Teacher to make the Trinity clear to his followers? Would God inspire hundreds of pages of Scripture and yet not use any of this instruction to teach the Trinity if it were the "central doctrine" of faith?

That's the nature of truth, not all people will accept the truth. The Bible is 100% clear about it that Jesus is God. There is no ambiguity in that. FYI, I'm not confused over what the Bible has taught about Jesus and the triune Godhead. Some people reject the trinity because they let their own intellectual arrogance override God's revelation that has to be received with humility and submission. Muslims make much ado over the need to submit yet they are so defiant in rejecting what the Bible teaches and refused to submit to the Bible.

there are quite some issues about this, that because it really is previous the conventional teachings of the Bible, is out of attain for most. jointly with an expertise of the Trinity. yet many do not comprehend how organizations artwork as separate individual entities both so i'm no longer shocked how this too is slightly out of variety. The Bible does no longer say each thing. it really is at acceptable a clue as to what extra will be accessible than in simple terms what's written interior the Bible. The Bible would not allow you to comprehend a thanks to rigidity a vehicle or pass the driver try yet yet you do it in case you pick to rigidity. So too, concepts jointly with those look to cover among some very complicated meanings and at the same time as one seems deeply into it, one exhibits out in simple terms how complicated issues truly are up there on the better extra complicated planes of truth.

I am a Christian who doesn't believe in the doctrine of the trinity but I don't agree with you either that it is polytheism in disguise.
Jesus claimed to be the Son of God, even in revelations, where He speaks from heaven AFTER His ascension, He speaks of His Father. If He was the Father, why would He differenciate between the 2? Yet when He was on earth He said, "Before Abraham was I am." which was a claim to be God. But in reality, it was a claim to be the God of the old testament, the great I Am who lead the Israelites to the promised land. And if you read elsewhere in the bible, it states that no man has ever seen God or he would die yet the bible also states that Moses spoke with God face to face. That leads me to believe that Jesus is not the Father but that the God who Moses spoke to face to face, who delivered Israel from Egypt was .......... yes, Jesus.

Premarital sex is forbidden in some religions. It is stated so in their religious book but people still commit the sin right? There'll always be those who don't follow the religion to the letter.
To understand Christianity, one must have a good relationship with a teacher: the Holy Spirit. He is the interpreter of the word or Bible. when He interprets, there is no confusion. Just a book is nothing. It is a mere thing but the live power behind it is God Himself.

It's a fault of humanity. It's called curiosity. Even priests can't resist it. Here's this unbelievable entity which is eternal, omnipotent, omniscient,- past present or future can hold no secrets to it- and here are these priest who presume to know what this entity wants or plans and they split up his church in to lots of pieces on trivia like the trinity the divinity etc. This thing is everywhere simultaneously in the whole universe and they worry about trinity and divinity I would hazard the thought that sch pass time is inconsequential and totally pointless.

Bible is a book that is a summation of books sourced from different location in the middle east , various books are written by different authors and at different periods. Many Jews still to accept that , Lord Jesus is the Messiah for the Kingdom of God.
Trinity is learnt as Unity in God Himself , as Jesus said I am the way the truth the Life and with out me no one can reach God the Kingdom. First it was God Himslef was present both as Person and in Spirit. when man started sinning and beyond pardoning , for the salavation of men, Jesus as Son and eternal Son of God Our Lord , God Himslef decided to send Him to earth and His crucifxion shall be the only victory against sin saving Mankind from satan and perishing.

They're not considered Christians by mainstream Christians (Catholics and the major Protestant churches). In order to be Christian you have to believe in the trinity and Jesus' divinity.
People who don't accept Jesus as God don't believe the Bible says it clearly enough.
The Bible can be interpreted in so many different ways. That's why we have so many different denominations.
Some denominations believe in "speaking in tongues."
Others don't. They say that was for long ago.
Some denominations believe no one should drink any alcoholic beverage.
Others say, it's okay, just don't get drunk.
Some denominations say women should always cover their heads.
Others say it's okay.
It's just unbelievable how many different churches will take something out of the Bible and decide that is a law for them. And another church will see the same scripture or Bible verse and say, "No that's not what that means..."

The answer is simple, they are not Christians, it is IMPOSSIBLE to be a Christian and not believe that Jesus is the Christ, God the Son.
The existence of God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit is known in the Old Testament, it is extremely clear, Jesus did not come up with it out of "no where". In fact, it is in nearly every single verse in the OT that mentions God. That is why the New Testament is so passe about it, because I imagine that they were tired of hearing about it. Nevertheless, this is a concept that had to be explained to the Gentiles, so you see it presented over and over, by Luke, Paul, John and so on.
How many times did the Jews seek to kill Him for claiming to be God because He said that He was God the Son? They ended up killing Him for it, because He "blasphemed," "making Himself God" by such claims.
The Holy Trinity is God's nature, the threefold personality of the one Divine Being. Since it composes all of who God is, when we say the Trinity, usually we mean, by implication, Almighty God.
The reason why it is not used more often is because it is like saying "Godhead" instead of saying "God"...in other words, saying "Godhead" is like saying "the state of being God". Godhead, Holy Trinity, "the state of being God" all the exact same thing.
I have no trouble with "Christians" not buying it per se, but I do have a problem with them calling themselves Christians. If you do not believe that Jesus is God the Son, there is no salvation by faith. That is the gospel of the kingdom of God, that God came to us in the flesh as God the Son, the Lord [Jehovah] Jesus Christ.
Everyone who does not buy it will go to hell. ALL of us do not exactly understand it, all we know is that there is only One God, and that is the Way God the Father does things, through His Son and by His Spirit.
1Co 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
Lu 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Isa 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Mt 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Joh 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
1Jo 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
1 John 4:2-3 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Well that list of verses is endless.
1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
