Eggs should definitely be kept refridgerated!
-Every hour an egg is at room temperature it loses a grade. For example, grade A eggs will become grade B eggs. The yolks will not rise as high.
-Eggs are a potentially hazardous food. Leaving them at room temperature will cause a risk of salmonella.
Bread is best if kept at room temperature. If you plan on keeping it more than a few days then putting it in the refridgerator or even the freezer is fine.

I have found that some things are better made with room temp eggs, so i have always left a few out and use with in a week. I have never had any problems with them going bad, and i have done this for years. For fried eggs they are best kept in the fridge.

they must be refridgerated for storage , however there are some dishes that should have an egg at room temperature. This is okay to bring an egg at room temperature. I was a chef for 20 years before going back to college 5 years ago, and believe me, there are alot of myths out there about food.
For storage, yes the refridgerator... but again, some dishes require an egg at room temp. and this will make a big difference in how your dish comes out.

There are better in the fridge than on the table somewhere... it increases the chances of salmonella. Oh, they also go rotten too.

In for storage. Out for 10 minutes before using to make some dishes, like omelettes.
