Love is not enough but probably the ultimate factor for a relationship to see the light of the day. Thats what we seek in each and every relationship possible on this earth. The most successful are the ones where the expectations are the least. And I believe that it is with love that you can overcome all the barriers and boundaries and can also forget and forgive all the little short comings that has come your way.

Love is a strong enough motivation to overcome all other issues in a relationship provided that both share that love. One sided love is not enough to do anything but to become an emotional doormat.

No, both parties have to work equally at saving the relationship. You may have enough love to overcome issues, but if the other doesn't, then you are left feeling used, and unsatisfied.

Not if that love is one-sided. If both partners are committed to making it work through all obstacles, it can. If you love your partner and are sacrificing everything to support him, it may not be enough. He has to be as invested as you are. If he is, no outside influences can destroy that love, even if you can't see one another for long periods of time. If he isn't, and you are making all the concessions, it's time to move on. You will never be truly happy with him. You can go on feeling love, but the relationship isn't healthy for you.

you have to put your love to good use by doing some other things to build up the relationship like communication, care, concern, taking up your responsiility, being respectful and obedient to your mate, understanding when one is ok and when one is not, etc helps luv to wax stronger in a relationship.

Nope. COMMITMENT!! Mutual respect, compromise, working together as a unit and maintaining your OWN sense of self! Encouragement.. and space. Growth too.
We view our relationship as a garden. When weeds pop up we gotta get in there get our gloves on and pull them out.
Don't forget women are like flowers, men are like bee's. It's up to them to fly to you all you need to do is be like a flower.. ( my good friend told me to try it and it worked for me).
good luck,
aloha

No, it takes work, determination and both partners must be willing to do what it takes. And sometimes circumstances still get in the way.
