i have this crack on my tooth between the filling and my real tooth and it is becoming more and more obvious. can anyone tell me more about the crown and how much does it cost in singapore?

it is painful?? i had been having injection on my gums for so many times now i am so afraid of it..

i'm sure that you could look it up on the web...as far as costs.
i have a crown. it didn't hurt. they let me watch them doing it with an overhead mirror.
like answer #1, they file it down and then put a crown over the stub of tooth that is left. (first they take a mold of your mouth, so that the crown is the same as your other tooth was)
i thought that the crown was indestructable. i like to chomp ice and one day i cracked a corned off of the crown. i haven't been back to the dentist since then, but they would probably just pry off the crown and put a new one on.

A crown: they file your tooth down to make a peg thing, then put the new tooth over it. no idea of costs in singapore.
