Don't worry about her. If she's that insecure drop her. Besides what woman wouldn't want her man to better himself and make a better life for them? I don't know! Have you cheated in the past? Just don't give her any reason NOT to trust you. That means no flirting or anything. If you end up cheating then you never loved her anyway.

Worries of your gf are unfounded. She is also going to some other college where she can get in touch with a boy. She may perhaps not allow you to go to office (when you find a job) thinking that you would fall for some female collegue of your office. This is weird. Both should have faith in each other.
