There is a duality in your question. Physical appearance is one and personality traits another. Perhaps the most appealling aspect is one's sense of humour; and I do not mean the hahahahaha type. By humour I mean the relative importance of things and how to resolve and /or confront difficulties. How serious or how ...unserious is a given situation. Then there is the face! And the eyes and who can say enough about them?

what i look for in a man is at first you have to be physically attracted to the person. I want a man with a good sense of humor, intelligence, compassion, the ability to talk about more than just himself or sports. Now that i am older personality is more important than looks. Looks change for all of us. I want a man who will treat me with respect, who will really listen and who responds to me too. I want a man who thinks i am a 10 even though i know i am not. confidence, masculinity, laid back attitude mixed with some mischievous spontaneity .... smart (i don't want to talk to myself), funny... if a guy takes the time to ask "hey what do you think... or want" that makes my heart flutter....good smelling but not bathed in Cologne... guys who go after what they want... smooth but genuine
in general i don't have a type i prefer... big men(not necessarily muscles but larger then me and not flabby) light eyes and dark hair ....those are just pluses
body language is so underrated a guy who can make eye contact give you a bed room glance and flash a smile is totally sexy.

The first thing i look for in a guy is face, hair and great bod :). Personallity counts a lot, he has to make me laugh, keep a conversation, isnt boring, good hygien, nice eyes, cute smile, good teeth...i could go on and on..hhahah

Whether anyone want to admit it or not, it's looks! I love a great pair of legs and shoulders. Then is I feel comfortable with him, can talk easily with him, he makes me laugh then I'm willing to stick it out and get to know him better.

someone with a unique personality and is nothing but themselves. that's a big turn on for me. he has to be friendly, easy going and can get along with most people. and when i first notice someone, i notice their looks which mostly lies in hair and smile for me.
