If you like a girl what’s the best way to ask for her number… or you don’t ask for her number right away? Would you come off as desperate?

the two answers before this one blow, dont do that.
If your going to see her again, dont ask. Wait till the next time, when you see eachother there will be that moment where your both like, "Hey! Its good to see you again" and then you can talk for a little and say "we should hang out more often" and then she say yes and either offer her number or you could say, "I dont have your phone number," and if its going to work, it will work.
If your not sure that you'll see her again, you can try leaving your phone on the table and going to the bathroom, maybe she'll put her number in or be playing with it when you get back and you can use that to get her number in there. Or I dont know, be cool and ask somehow.

You just let her know that you are having a good time with her and would like to keep in touch.
Tell her to give you her digits that way, you could have some more fun another day.
And if you are asking a total stranger for her number, then you need to give your card and ask her if she would like to go out with you some time.
No, it is not desperate if you like a girl and want to know her better.
Whats desperate is in the way you approach her.
If you behave like a creep, she is gonna be pissed.

If its someone youve talked to and build some what of a conversation then with confidence but not too cocky say, Hey i think your really sweet and id like to take you out sometime, maybe get to know you more, can I call you sometime? If the answer is yes then start dialing on your phone or have her program it then accidently dial it to confirm the kill and tell her you should have my number because im sending it to your phone.
If she says no, i dont do that, or not intersted, then say hey its cool ok well ill see you around some time, take care. Man im so smoothed.

Well, I don't think asking her straight away is a good idea because I know I would turn some eager guy down in a second.
Try and start a conversation up with her, let her get used to you first.
Then ask if you can call her, or if she wants to trade numbers, etc.
Don't seem eager, that's the key.

Simple..
Ask her to give a missed call to your mobile saying that you can show your new ringtone downloaded for your mobile.
(or)
Ask your GF if she have any cute themes/ wallpapers in her mobile, even it is not gud, praise her for the wallpapers and get the number.
(or)
Show your mobile, if she likes nay of your themes, ask her number and forward. You Got te number now...

if shes single go for it. just be honest and ask her for her number. dont be afraid or you wont accomplish much in life. be a risk taker.
