Nervous and shy because he likes you. If a guy knows you like him, he maybe nervous, but I doubt that would make him shy unless he returned those feelings.

Probably the first one. When a guy finds out someone is interested in them he invariably gets an ego boost. Someone who is feeling good about them self probably won't act shy or nervous.

it could be either, but i think with the second senario you would also sense an air of uncomfortablness(is that even a proper word?) too, if he is just shy & nervous i would say he likes you but feeling uncomfortable too would be because he senses you like him and perhaps wants to avoid what could be a potentially embarassing situation,

I am not shy at all when I know a girl likes me. I totally gain confidence, and try to flirt with her, and compliment etc to get her to say something. I think the first one you said is more likely.

Both are possible. Not knowing the guy, I would be on shyness because he likes you.
